About: TheSource is an internal update show for multi-national cloud services firm Citrix Systems. It releases bi-weekly, with a 15-minute TRT, and the format is hosted with segments, and even internal commercials.
Position: Producer, Editor, Shooter/Director
As the producer, I oversaw pre-production alongside their internal segment producers including script writing and creative consulting, directed and filmed on location, and edited including color grading, and music selection. I even lent my voiceover for a few of their commercials.
Production Secret: One-woman crew
After a few months as an-house producer with this boutique production company, I was given full ownership of the show. With a limited budget, that meant I was director and DP, audio, lighting, and teleprompter. I served as DIT and editor, all while collaborating closely with the client. While I am now a creative producer, I can say I have truly held most positions up and down the call sheet.
